Phase 3: Strengthening Phase
The Strengthening Phase is crucial for stabilization
During this phase most patients are feeling great. Your symptoms will either be completely eliminated by this phase or drastically reduced. This may be deceptive because you may think this is a great time to do more than you should, or to decide to stop receiving treatment, since you no longer are having the symptoms you started care with. If there is one thing that we at our office will teach you, if you disrupt your care by over-doing it or you decide to terminate your care prematurely before your condition is stable, you may undo everything we accomplished in your treatment plan thus far. Restoring your full health will take time. That's how the human body heals. It took a while for your body to get to the place where you decided to get help. Now, it's time to give your body that time back and heal completely.
Depending on the severity of your condition(s), you may require weekly or bi-weekly visits during this phase and this phase may last several months. You will be given core strengthening exercises during this phase to stabilize your conditions. You will receive periodic adjustments during this phase to ensure the stability of your condition(s) and your nervous system.
